DA Market Securities, Inc. (DMSI)—formerly Market
Capital Securities, Inc. (MCS)—is one of the oldest brokerage
houses in the country. It was established in 1971 under the name
of CI Securities.
In 1995, the group of Nestor S. Aguila bought into Market Capital.
Three years later, it changed its corporate name to DA Market Securities,
Inc. as House of David Investment and Management Corporation (HDIMC),
which owns seventy percent (70%) of DMSI, continued to contribute
into the company.
This strategic alliance allowed DMSI to strengthen and enhance
its services for its blue-chip clientele during the bears and bulls
of the Philippine capital market.
Today, DMSI remains to be one of the top brokerage houses in the
country.
